Mocktail Madness

Mocktail Madness

Contrary to popular belief, here at DrinksPlinks we’re not big drinkers. Sometimes we enjoy a bevragiono without wanting the consequences of doing so. Here’s the compiled list of our go-to drinks, hold the liquor.

Spicy Lemon Ginger Tonic

200g ginger roughly chopped

5 wide strips of lemon zest

1 cup of fresh lemon juice

¼ cup honey

Pinch of cayenne pepper

Pinch of kosher salt

Seltzer

Method:

Step 1: Bring the ginger, strips of lemon zest, lemon juice, honey, cayenne pepper, salt, and ½ water to boil. Reduce heat and simmer until mixture has darkened and reduced by a third (30-40 mins)

Step 2: Strain the tonic through a fine mesh strainer.

Step 3: Can be served warm or chilled, pour 2 tablespoons into desired glass and top with seltzer.

Cosmopolitan

60mls Seedlip Grove 42 (or any nonalcoholic spirit)

15mls non- alcoholic orange liquor

22ml lime juice

15mls cranberry juice

7mls simple syrup

Dash of bitters

Method:

Step 1: Add everything into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until chilled.

Step 2: Strain into a glass and garnish as desired. It’s really that simple.

Spicy Margarita

Juice of 1 lime

60mls jalapeno honey simple syrup (or half honey, half simple syrup)

60mls orange juice

120mls grapefruit sparkling water

Lime wedges, mini chillis, etc. for garnishing.

Method

Step 1: In a shaker or tall glass combine the lime juice, simple syrup, orange juice, grapefruit water, and ice. Shake or stir until combined and chilled.

Step 2: Again it’s that easy, strain into your desired glass, top with garnishes and enjoy.

So there you have it, three delicious and easy mocktails to enjoy. Hot tip, try using our Adventours Pyramid ice cube to elevate the experience.
